Behind the Inner Child Soul Movement Cards™ Created by Tal Shai
I created the Inner Child Soul Movement Cards™ after many years of supporting clients in their healing journeys, alongside my own inner-child work.
Through therapeutic practice, teaching, facilitating, and guiding others, I have seen that the inner child carries not only wounds, but also profound possibilities for growth, creativity, wisdom, and reconnection.
Our earliest experiences can continue to shape how we relate, create, choose, receive, protect ourselves, and move through the world.
As adults, we can return to these younger parts of ourselves with the presence, compassion, understanding, encouragement, protection, and support they may not have received at the time.
This is the heart of the deck.
The cards do not place responsibility on the inner child to heal, change, decide, or take risks alone. They invite the adult self to become a loving and dependable companion—to listen, respond, protect, guide, nurture, and help the younger self engage with life more fully.
Each card was created as a symbolic doorway into one aspect of this relationship.
